libexiv2-12 software package provides EXIF/IPTC metadata manipulation library, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libexiv2-12
libexiv2-12 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libexiv2-12 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libexiv2-12 *
You will get with libexiv2-12 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
